Luna Grill wasn’t looking for a reinvention. They had already built a loyal following through authentic Mediterranean recipes, premium ingredients, and a genuine family story. As the brand expanded across California, Arizona, and Texas, the opportunity was to amplify what made it special.
Big Day helped bring fresh energy to the brand—translating its authenticity into campaigns with more personality, more conversation, and more stopping power. Along the way, we launched new menu items, created grand opening activations, and developed Luna Grill’s first integrated brand campaign, culminating in its first brand-forward TV/video campaign.
marked Luna Grill’s first major move into higher-order brand storytelling—taking the conversation beyond what was on the plate to what good food brings to life. Anchored by :30 and :60 films, the campaign extended across product, lifestyle, digital, and in-store, giving the growing brand a bigger, more emotional story to tell.
We gave Luna Grill’s limited-time offers a little extra staying power. From new Pitas to the Medi Macro Bowl, we created launch campaigns with big ideas and plenty of appetite appeal—brought to life across social and digital, OOH, radio, and in-store. All designed to turn something limited into something hard to miss.
New restaurants meant new neighborhoods—and new opportunities to make an introduction. We created locally driven launch campaigns that built buzz around Luna Grill openings from Orange County, CA to Mesa, Arizona and Texas, we generated buzz and thrilled tastebuds with our Med-forward launch activations.
It would have been easier to stick to just one style of film. Instead, we combined both CGI and live action to give the transformation from dream factory to reality more visual and emotional impact. We created a magical transition moment between the two film styles through a phantom camera/slow-motion scene of a sleeper gently falling into bed. It was tricky to shoot, but well worth the effort when viewed in the final piece.
