From fast casual to cold beer, few consumer sectors are as fiercely competitive as food and beverage. At Big Day, we know what it takes to stand out, win fans and gain share.
Whether it’s a rebrand, product launch or seasonal campaign, we love sinking our teeth into business challenges and overcoming them with world-class work that works harder.
Cooking with fire.
Most people think all cookware is created equal. But from their signature hybrid cookware to their Damascus steel knives, HexClad is revolutionizing cookware with new levels of engineering and workmanship. When it was time for them to bring their brand to the next level, they sought out Big Day to do a top-to-bottom brand audit and reimagine their logo, look and feel and voice and tone.
Then, working with food stylists, we use both ingredients and prepared dishes to highlight the performance of their cookware and help them bring their revolutionary products to a broader audience. With campaigns delivering everything from emails and banners to custom social content and videos, including their first-ever broadcast and subsequent holiday commercials, we’ve helped them grow their sales exponentially and expand their offerings to bring even more ground-breaking premium cookware the world.
Making belly believers.
GoodBelly is on a mission to make gut health easy, delicious and accessible. With a lineup of probiotic-packed juices, they bring science-backed benefits to the everyday wellness routine—without compromising on taste. We helped refine their brand positioning and craft a bold, engaging campaign highlighting the power of probiotics in a way that’s fresh and fun—and unlike anything else in the category. From eye-catching visuals to clever, benefit-driven messaging, our work helped GoodBelly stand out in the crowded functional beverage space and connect with consumers looking to support their gut health with something they actually enjoy drinking.
Grilling up growth.
When The Kebab Shop was just a single restaurant in San Diego, they came to Big Day to help completely reinvent their brand. We took them from “just another Mediterranean grill” to one with a bold point of view that challenges people to break out of the daily food rut and Crave Change. This new attitude touched everything from the look of the storefront to menu design.
Using striking juxtapositions, we developed a marketing campaign that met the competition head on. We highlighted the mundane choices hungry consumers tend to fall back on and then hit them with a dose of flame-grilled deliciousness. Beyond driving sales, it helped catapult them to over 20 locations in 6 cities (and counting).
Cracking open a competitive advantage.
Innovative craft brewers in the burgeoning non-alcoholic (NA) craft beer scene, Rationale sought to showcase how great the taste of NA beer can be, while also promoting the active, fun lifestyle of its drinkers. They brought Big Day in to help them rip up the rulebook. We took their new strategic positioning, lit a spark plug, and gave them some explosive new creative that rejuvenated how they speak as a brand.
We embraced their non-conformist approach and created a campaign that tore apart the foundations of non-alcoholic beer stereotypes. We used original insights and a unique POV that would appeal to the audience they were seeking to reach and help them create a lifestyle brand that will put their drink into more hands and more good times.
Healthy done right.
In a marketplace crowded with empty calories and less-than-ideal ingredients, Perfect Bar asked us to create a social content campaign that would help their products stand out on a packed shelf.
Of course creating content for Instagram, Facebook and Twitter is cutthroat. With seconds to engage your audience, and more than 50% of people scrolling with the sound off, we needed an approach that would be thumb-stompingly fun and informative. We decided to go old school with a series of stop-motion gifs that made the brand’s authentic ingredients and packaging the stars. And we weren’t the only ones who loved it. The stop-motion campaign grew beyond social and was used in other digital properties, including their newly designed website.
